How to bleed a radiator
- Cover the floor and surrounding area with plastic liner to avoid staining and leakage
- Turn the bleed valve counterclockwise using the key
- The air going out of the radiator at high pressure will make a hissing noise
- When the hissing has stopped, turn the key clockwise to close the valve
- Clean up, have a beer, and pat yourself on the back for an HVAC job done like a pro!
